Snowy Sunday

Another Winter day! Sundays are usually a day where I want my clothing to be comfortable, especially on a snowy one ... all the more reason to be cozy. Today I had a dinner to attend so I needed to look somewhat put together. I wore a simple chiffon black blouse and layered it with this comfortable (and warm) burgundy knit cardigan. These black shiny leggings are amazing because they are so comfortable but the extra shine on them makes you feel a little more dressed up! To add another color into my outfit I added a cheetah print scarf and tan riding boots.

I find that a long blouse and leggings are an easy foundation for a cute outfit that you can still feel comfortable in. They are two basic items that you can build your look off of with accessories and/or by layering (i.e. a vest, cardigan, jacket, scarf). It's a really quick way to put together an outfit if you're ever stumped and in a hurry. Hope you had a great weekend!

Sunday Sweater dress!

Happy Superbowl Sunday! I hope you had a great weekend. The end of mine was freezing and snowy (it's actually still snowing). But on to the look I paired a recently purchased striped sweater dress (currently on sale 50% off) with some black leggings ... I do love leggings ha-ha. I'm also wearing some ankle booties that you'll probably recognize from my last post. They are so versatile and I still can't believe I got them for $11!

It was bitter cold taking these pictures. Although the light snowfall sure was pretty! Hope you enjoy! :)
